The American Legion Riders of Florida Participate In the In-State Unity Rides

Unity Ride 2024

Three Riders from Chapter 142 participated. The Unity Ride is a fund-raising event shared across the entire State of Florida by Riders Chapters from local Legion Posts. Their goal is to raise money for various charities supported by the American Legion Riders.

The Unity Ride was a multi-day event held this year from April 22- April 27, 2024.

Our Riders met up with the group on Day 3, April 24th, at Post 268 in Rivieria Beach and rode throughout Broward County during the day. Our Rider Director, Don Crites, donated a check for $1,000 towards the charity Project Vet Relief: Suicide Prevention Program!

Unity Ride 2023

Seven Riders from Chapter 142 will be participating. The Unity Ride is a fund-raising event shared across the entire State of Florida by constituent Riders Chapters from local posts. Their goal is to raise money for various charities supported by the American Legion.

The Unity Ride is a multi-day event held this year from April 16- April 20, 2023.

The Riders are scheduled to be here on Thursday, April 20th from 1:30-2:30 PM, and Chapter 142 will be presenting a check for $1000 to go to Project Vet Relief's Suicide Prevention program!

Chapter 142's Director, Don Crites, notes this will be the first time that the Unity Ride will visit Post 142!

Director Crites invites all members of the Post 142 Family to attend and give the Unity Riders a warm Post 142 welcome! We do want the Unity Riders to continue to visit Post 142 in future annual Unity Rides.

Kudos to the 142 Riders for such an outstnding effort!

Please do mark your calendars and be here to welcome the Riders in this great charitable effort!
