Increasingly, citizens from many "walks of life" are in need of our help, but those with a high priotity for the Post 142 Family Members are the Nation's service "vets in need!"
Not every Post 142 Family member has the training, time, or financial wherewithal to be an advocate for veterans in dire straights, but most want to help and, can help, by steering those vets in acute need to individuals and organizations trained and equipped to meaningfully intervene on her or his behalf!
Should we encounter a vet in dire need, homeless, sick, contemplating suicide as the only solution, we need to act immediately:
Please assist that vet in calling the Veterans Crisis Line:
Call 1-800-273-8255 and Press 1
Thank You!
