Sterling McClellan Post 142

Post 142 Toy Drive Has Ended!

Did you see the many, huge cartons of new, unwrapped toys in the Lounge, donated by Post 142 Family Members?  Members have outdone themselves this year, and that means a Merry Christmas for the 150 children currently at the Susan B. Anthony Shelter Center to whom these toys are  directed!!

Your generousity this year, as in years past, is overwehlming and so typically and fully demonsrtates the helping, giving and loving nature of you, our Post members!

Generous volunteers from Post 142, DAR, Exchange Club,Girl Scouts, and others Christmas-wrapped and age-appropriately marked the toys collected for kids at the Center here in the Great Hall at Post 142 .

The Post 142 Officers, Employees, and Post 142 Canteen Staff could not be prouder of everyone who donated gifts and their efforts on behalf of these wonderful children so in need of cheer and happiness in their lives at this holiday season!

Apologies to those generous volunteers who arrived at the Post with their pickup trucks only to find, due to last-minute miscommunication, the toys had already been delivered. Mia culpa!  Thank you for your good-natured understanding and forgiveness!

We wish everyone:

A Happy and Joyous Chritmas!
